Found in 2001, Playcoo is mainly involved in the development of browser games with its team of dedicated developers. The company has been acknowledged for its technical capabilities and experience for browser, mobile and tablet game development. Playcoo has launched several titles that have been well received in the international market, such as online game titles Lucent Heart, Divina, Dream Drops and Myrina and the mobile game Doka Online. Lucent Heart and Divina received critical acclaim and earned multiple prestigious game awards in Japan and Taiwan.

In 2015, Playcoo launched mobile games DivinaQ and Lucent Heart, followed by a number of titles for mobile and tablet platform to showcase its capabilities for the development of cross-platform digital games whilst opening up more opportunities in the international market with quality titles.
